ABOUT ME
Hello, I'm Sophie Clyde, a designer and programmer with a particular interest in creating interactive products, environments and narratives. I work to explore how people and technology interact and how they work best together, no matter the context in which they meet.
I'm currently a Master's student in Human-Computer Interaction at the Georgia Institute of Technology, working to improve my skill in and understanding of the fields of design and implementation. You can explore my past projects in the Projects section of this site, or reach out to learn more!

Software Test Engineer, Qualtrics
In this role, I thoroughly tested and ensured quality for new and existing features, analyzed patterns in escaped bugs to close gaps and prevent future issues, wrote and maintained over 200+ automated tests, and collaborated with developers and product managers to ensure the quality of our product.

Qualtrics
In this role, I assisted over 20 customers daily (and over 2000 customers overall) with creating and maintaining effective survey workflows that provide actionable data, providing specialist knowledge and support, and working closely with leading clients and Qualtrics employees to improve user experience with our product.

Field Organizer,
Organizing Corps 2020
In this role, I contacted and engaged over 700 voters through phone banking, canvassing 1:1 meetings, and digital recruitment to build voter capacity. I also recruited, trained, and organized local volunteers to conduct voter registration drives, canvas efforts, and local phone banks to register an additional 250+ voters.

Psychology Statistics Teaching Assistant, Wellesley College
In this role, I worked with the professor and other teaching assistants to design and teach weekly curriculum, assisted students with pre-class and in-class work, graded and returned finished work to students, and created templates and tutorials for statistics programs such as SPSS, R and Excel
